My first southern hemisphere night sky! After the Extreme Solar Systems conference in New Zealand, I rented a van and went back packing through the southern island. The cows kept me company.
My first glacier, Fox Glacier in NZ. It is one of the only glaciers in a temperate rainforest and flows up to 5 m per day!
These are not stars – these are glow worms! Native to NZ, these creatures, actually larval gnats, use bioluminescence to attract prey.
A stained glass piece I made for a friend who studied Earth's interior for his PhD. This was only my second large piece!
Stained glass & copper earrings.
Thought this glass looked like the moon! Now I have moon earrings.
Solar eclipse 2024 :) Photo by Ben Fernando, driving to Ohio by me

Taken at the Harvard College Observatory while I was in high school! Had no idea I'd end up doing research there.
Kayaking on Lake Bled in Slovenia!
I was lucky enough to catch the northern lights while in Boston. Happy solar maximum :)

She loves the top of my fridge.
Macrophotography is one of my favorite styles, especially of plants and bugs. I usually shoot with a Canon t5i but the iPhone does pretty well these days.
The ceiling at Baltimore Penn Station is unreal!
I've been learning bass guitar! I also sing and play piano & trumpet.
Played around with cyanotyping, a photography technique using iron salts exposed to UV light.
A lovely meal prepared by my host family in Riccia, Italy, where my family is from. I'm quite bad at speaking Italian but would love to practice more!
